The Public Procurement Monitoring Office under the Office of the Prime Minister has blacklisted 10 construction companies.
The office issued a public notice today, stating that effective from today’s date, two companies have been blacklisted for one and a half years, while the others have been blacklisted for one year.
Tara Laxmi Nirman Sewa Gulmi, led by Ganesh Tangnami, and Mamata Manju Construction Pvt. Ltd. Kathmandu, led by Anil Basnet, have been blacklisted for one and a half years. Their blacklisting was recommended by the Dhurkot Rural Municipality Office in Gulmi.
Similarly, Sanam Nirman Sewa Sankhuwasabha, led by Subodh Khatri, and Nirjara Nirman Sewa, led by Kamal Sapkota, have been blacklisted for one year based on the recommendation of the Sabhapokhari Rural Municipality Office.
Indreni Builders and Suppliers Pvt. Ltd. Kathmandu, led by Ashok Gaire, has also been blacklisted for one year. Its blacklisting was recommended by Sitaram Secondary School in Shikhar Municipality-9, Doti.
Likewise, based on the recommendation of the No. 9 Battalion Headquarters of the Armed Police Force in Mahottari, G.S. Nirman Sansar Company and Kaman Construction have been blacklisted for one year. The main persons of these companies are Gopal Prasad Dahal (G.S. Nirman Sansar Company) and Kaman Singh Lama (Kaman Construction).
Additionally, Rajendra Nirman Sewa, led by Bhim Bahadur Sawad, Rafina & Construction, led by Rabin Kumar Joshi, and Ram Nirman Construction, led by Suresh Kumar Silwal, have also been blacklisted for one year. Their blacklisting was recommended by the Department of Archaeology.
The government blacklists companies that fail to complete their assigned work satisfactorily. During the blacklisting period, such companies are prohibited from participating in any procurement process of public entities.
