A jeep accident in Surkhet has left 13 people injured. The jeep (Karnali Province 02001 Kha 0491) was traveling from Dailekh to Surkhet when it crashed, according to the Surkhet District Traffic Police Office.
Inspector Bakil Sunar said the accident occurred about 1 km west of Bangesim in Birendranagar Municipality-2, at a place called Ghodalote. The vehicle went out of control and fell 15 meters off the road.
The injured are receiving treatment at different hospitals in Surkhet. Police reported that there were 16 passengers on board.
