Police have arrested 14 people for gambling in two separate houses in Bhaktapur.
In Madhyapur Thimi Municipality-4, police caught Rajendra Shrestha and 8 others playing cards at his house in SS Chowk. They were arrested with Rs. 123,750 in cash.
Similarly, in Changunarayan Municipality-7, police arrested Krishna Ram Chhusyabag and 4 others while they were gambling at his home in Helmet Danda. Police recovered Rs. 34,950 in cash from the scene.
Police said further investigation is ongoing in both cases.
