An 18-year-old Ram Bahadur Rana from Bhalsopke, Arughat Rural Municipality-5, died after falling from a tractor. On Friday morning, the young man was found dead on the Arughat-Machakhola road section, specifically at Arughat Rural Municipality-3, Khursane, prompting the police to begin an investigation.
During the investigation, it was revealed that the deceased was riding a tractor with registration number Na 6 Ta 9630, traveling from Arkhet to Machakhola. This information was provided by DSP Indra Prasad Subedi of the District Police Office in Gorkha.
The deceased was identified by his own father. According to the initial investigation, it appears that the young man fell from the tractor and was run over by the rear tire, leading to his death. The body has been sent to Arughat Hospital for a post-mortem examination. The tractor driver, 18-year-old Ganesh Malbul from Siranchowk Rural Municipality-4, Chhoprak, has been taken into custody, and the investigation into the incident is ongoing.
