Two individuals from Sindhuli have been arrested in Kathmandu for allegedly defrauding locals of gold jewelry worth Rs 26 lakh. The suspects posed as recent returnees from abroad, tricking victims with false promises of foreign currency exchange assistance, and then absconded with the ornaments.
Police Begin Investigation
Kathmandu District Police has secured a five-day remand to continue its investigation into the case.
