Two Indian citizens were arrested at Tribhuvan International Airport with cannabis in their possession after arriving from Thailand.
The arrested individuals have been identified as 30-year-old Mohammad Asraf Muhammad and 23-year-old Mohammad Safbhan Kakkati. Police seized 3.44 kg of cannabis from Asraf and 1.65 kg from Safbhan.
Both arrived in Kathmandu on Sunday via Thai Airways and have now been handed over to the Narcotics Control Bureau for further investigation.
