A road accident on the East-West Highway at Alakatre Danda in Sunwal Municipality-7, West Nawalparasi, injured 22 passengers on Friday.
The accident happened when a microbus (Lu 1 Kha 9467) traveling from Bardaghat to Butwal collided with a truck (Sudurpashchim Province 01-001 Kha 2442). According to the police, the microbus lost control after hitting a cyclist and then crashed into the truck.
Out of the injured, six people are in serious condition and have been taken to Bhaluhi Medical College in Rupandehi for treatment.
