Recently, several earthquakes have hit different parts of the Jajarkot district.
According to the National Earthquake Measurement and Research Center, a 4.1-magnitude earthquake struck on Monday at 9:31 PM, with its epicenter in Paik, a place in Jajarkot’s Kushe Rural Municipality.
There is no information yet about any damage caused by this earthquake.
On Chaitra 21 (April 3), two earthquakes occurred in the same area at 8:07 PM and 8:10 PM. The first one had a magnitude of 5.2 and the second one was 5.5. These quakes caused minor damage to some houses.
Similarly, on Chaitra 20 (April 2), a 4.0 magnitude earthquake struck Darchula, and on Chaitra 12 (March 25), a 4.5 magnitude quake hit Humla.
