A microbus accident in Gaindakot on Sunday afternoon left four people injured. The incident occurred around 2 PM near the Gaindakot Municipality Office in Nawalparasi East.
The microbus (Ba 4 Kha 5050), carrying 16 passengers, was en route from Dang to Kathmandu. According to the Area Police Office Gaindakot, the accident happened when the driver swerved to avoid a scooter that was moving in the wrong direction on the East-West (Mahendra) Highway. In the process, the microbus lost control and crashed.
All four injured passengers were immediately taken to Bharatpur Hospital for treatment. The driver fled the scene after the accident, and police are currently searching for him.
