A woman’s body was found in a naked state in Dudhe, ward no. 11 of Shivasatakshi Municipality, Jhapa. Ward chairman Bahadur Angbo informed that 55-year-old Gangakumari Limbu, who had been living alone, was found dead inside her house on Tuesday night.
She had been out of contact since Monday. When neighbors looked through the window, they saw her lying in the kitchen and informed the police. A team from the Jhiljhile Area Police Office broke open the door, retrieved the body, and took it to Damak Hospital.
According to ward chairman Angbo, Gangakumari’s husband has been living in India. Jhiljhile police stated that an investigation into the incident has begun.
