There have been recent reports about Apple’s budget model, the iPhone SE. According to new information, Apple is planning to launch the cheaper iPhone under a new name. The iPhone SE 4 will be renamed iPhone 16e, and it is expected to be released by March.
According to Chinese social media tipster Fixed Focus Digital, the iPhone 16e will be quite different from the SE model. The new model will feature a redesigned look and a 6.06-inch display, compared to the previous 4.7-inch LCD screen on the SE 4.
Additionally, the iPhone 16e will replace the Touch ID home button with Face ID. The design will be similar to the iPhone XR and iPhone 12.
The iPhone 16e will also include the A18 chipset, marking a significant upgrade. This will make the budget model as powerful as the iPhone 16 series. The phone will have 8GB of RAM, up from the previous 4GB, making it better for multitasking.
It will also feature Apple’s latest AI and machine learning capabilities. The iPhone 16e is expected to have 128GB of storage, a 48MP main camera, and a 12MP TrueDepth selfie camera.
