A suspect has been arrested in connection with the Sai Swagat Cooperative fraud case in Baneshwar, Kathmandu.
The arrested individual is Bharat Jangam, the former chairman of the cooperative. A team from the District Police Office, Kathmandu, apprehended him and has begun an investigation into the case.
According to SSP Basanta Rajauré of the District Police Office, the police will seek a court order to proceed with the investigation.
