Due to the mild influence of westerly winds, partial cloud cover has been observed in the hilly and mountainous regions of Gandaki Province and Karnali Province, while the weather remains mostly clear in other areas, according to the Meteorological Forecasting Division of the Department of Hydrology and Meteorology.
As per the Division, partial to moderate cloud cover is currently seen in the higher hilly and mountainous regions of Gandaki Province, Karnali Province, and Sudurpaschim Province, whereas the weather is predominantly clear in other areas. Fog and mist have enveloped many parts of the Tarai as well as the valleys.
The Division has indicated that the weather across the country is expected to remain generally clear during the day, with the possibility of partial cloud cover in a few locations in the mountainous region at night.
It has also advised caution, as fog and mist in many parts of the Terai and valleys during the morning hours may impact daily life, health, transportation, and air travel.
