A woman has been murdered in Dhanusha. According to the police, 29-year-old Sangita Thakur from Ward No. 5, Dhanushadham Municipality, was killed.
Sangita’s husband, 33-year-old Devalal Thakur, murdered her at around 2 AM on Saturday, said Dhanusha police spokesperson DSP Barun Bahadur Singh.
Initial investigations reveal that Devlal killed his wife by hitting her with a door lock bar, as informed by DSP Singh.
The police have arrested Devlal and are conducting further investigations. They suspect the murder happened due to a domestic dispute.
