A tractor accident on a dirt road in Kaichi forest, located in Dordi Rural Municipality-5, Lamjung, has claimed the life of a young man. Police reported that Kiran Gurung, approximately 27 years old from Bhanu Municipality-9, Tanahun, died on the spot.
The tractor (registration number Ga 1 Ta 5276) was heading to Chandi Danda from Kaichi Danda to collect firewood when the accident occurred around 8 a.m. on Tuesday.
According to a resident, the tractor, driven by a wood trader instead of the driver, overturned at a turn. District Police Chief DSP Nishant Srivastav stated that a police team, led by an inspector, has reached the site and started an investigation.
The police mentioned that further details would be available after the investigation. The body is being prepared to be sent to the district hospital in Besisahar for a postmortem.
