Netherlands Sets 158-Run Target for Nepal in Women’s T20 Series Opener

In the first match of the Women’s Triangular T20 International series, the Netherlands set a target of 158 runs for Nepal.

Batting first after losing the toss at the Tribhuvan University Cricket Ground in Kirtipur, the Netherlands scored 157 runs for the loss of 4 wickets at the end of 20 overs. For the Netherlands, Rikke scored an unbeaten 59 runs off 48 balls, including 8 fours. Batter Iris Zwilling contributed an unbeaten 31 runs off 13 balls, hitting 5 fours, while opener Sterre Kalis added 29 runs off 35 balls with 4 fours.

Heather Siegers made 23 runs off 19 balls, hitting 1 four and 1 six. The other two players could not make double-digit scores.

For Nepal, Kavita Kunwar, Pooja Mahato, Ishwari Bisht, and Sita Ranamagar each took 1 wicket.
