A man’s body was found on the banks of the Trishuli River in Gorkha’s Gandaki Rural Municipality-2, Gordi.
According to the District Police Office, Gorkha, the body was discovered lying face down on Saturday. “It appears to be the body of a man aged around 50-55,” said Police Inspector Dhruva Prasad Sharma. “We have taken it to Gorkha Hospital for a post-mortem.”
Locals informed the police after spotting the body. A team led by Inspector Sharma reached the site, and with the help of the Disaster Management Training Center in Kurintar, they retrieved the body. Police have started further investigation into the incident.
