The 25th edition of the International Invitational Budha Subba Gold Cup football tournament will feature its final quarterfinal match today.
The match will take place at Dharan Stadium at 3:15 PM, where the defending champions, New Road Team (NRT) Club, will compete against Jhapa’s Kakarvitta Football Training Center.
The winner of today’s match will face India’s United Kurseong Football Club (UKFC) in the semifinals on Thursday for a place in the final. Earlier, Bhutan’s RTC Football Club secured a semifinal spot by defeating National Jagriti Club Itahari in yesterday’s match.
RTC will play against Church Boys on Wednesday for a place in the final. The tournament features eight teams, with the winner receiving a cash prize of NPR 1 million, while the runner-up will be awarded NPR 500,000. The final match is scheduled for Saturday.
