Legendary rock singer Ozzy Osbourne has announced that Black Sabbath will reunite for one last concert in Birmingham, UK, on July 5, 2025. This will be the band’s first full reunion in 20 years, featuring the original members: Ozzy, guitarist Tony Iommi, bassist Geezer Butler, and drummer Bill Ward.
The concert, called “Back To The Beginning,” will be the main event at a big festival. Other famous rock and metal bands like Metallica, Slayer, Pantera, Alice In Chains, Lamb Of God, and Anthrax will also perform. Additionally, a special supergroup with Billy Corgan, David Draiman, Duff McKagan, and Jonathan Davis will take the stage.
Fans Worried About Ozzy’s Health
Fans are excited but also worried about Ozzy’s ability to perform. He has faced many health problems, including seven surgeries, Parkinson’s disease (since 2003), and spinal issues.
People have shared their concerns online:
“Will Ozzy actually make it to the stage? He hasn’t performed in years!”
“His movements and voice are seriously affected by Parkinson’s. Hope he can do it, but I’m skeptical.”
“Not sure if this is realistic, but if Mick Jagger can still do it, maybe Ozzy can too?”
Despite these concerns, Ozzy is determined. He said:
“It’s time for me to give back to the place where I was born. Birmingham is the true home of metal.”
Will The Show Really Happen?
Since Ozzy has canceled shows before and has trouble moving, it is unclear how the concert will be arranged. Some think he might get vocal assistance or have a shorter performance.
One thing is certain—if this really is Black Sabbath’s last show, it will be a historic event in rock music.
