The Education, Health, and Information Technology Committee of the House of Representatives has directed that the 10th National Sports Competition in Karnali Province be completed on time.
During a meeting held on Friday at Singha Durbar, the committee instructed the Ministry of Youth and Sports to ensure that the competition is conducted within the scheduled timeframe.
Announcing the committee’s decision, Committee Chairperson Ammar Bahadur Thapa emphasized the need for swift action. He urged the Ministry of Youth and Sports to take necessary steps immediately, stating, “Our committee wants the sports event to be held on time. The Ministry of Youth and Sports and the Ministry of Finance will be under significant pressure to fast-track the process. The necessary methods and procedures for fast-tracking should be determined, and all preparations should be completed by the 23rd. Please ensure that the 10th National Sports Competition is conducted on time through a fast-track approach.”
