Police have arrested three people with illegal timber in Kailali.
According to the police, 57.08 cubic feet of saal wood was seized from Matkauna, Gauriganga Municipality-7. The arrested individuals are 57-year-old Dinesh Chaudhary, 41-year-old Nirmal Dagoura Tharu, and 54-year-old Sitaram Chaudhary.
They had illegally taken the timber from Gauriganga Community Forest and hidden it at Dinesh Chaudhary’s house. The seized wood and the arrested individuals have been handed over to the Sub-Division Forest Office in Masuriya.
