A bus traveling from Nepalgunj to Kathmandu met with an accident on the Narayangadh-Muglin road section, injuring 23 people.
According to the police, the bus with registration number Lu Pra 03-001 Kha 0077 fell off the Setidobhan bridge on the Narayangadh-Muglin road section at around 4:30 AM today. Inspector Nirala Bhandari, chief of the Area Police Office, Muglin, stated that out of the 28 passengers on board, 23 were injured in the accident.
She informed that the injured passengers are receiving treatment at Chitwan Medical College, while the other passengers are safe. Inspector Bhandari suggested that the accident might have occurred due to the bus losing control after a tire puncture.
