Nepal Police Club has won the club-level volleyball cup held in Rampur, Palpa. With the title, Police secured a cash prize of NPR 222,222 along with a trophy, medals, and certificates.
In the final match held on Saturday, Police Club defeated Nepal APF Club in straight sets (3-0) to claim the championship. Police won the sets by scores of 25-21, 25-12, and 25-22. Tribhuvan Army Club secured third place, while Nisdi Volleyball Club received the consolation prize, according to tournament coordinator Kamal Rana.
Army Club defeated Nisdi Volleyball Club 3-1 to claim third place. Army won the first set 25-21, the third set 25-19, and the fourth set 25-19, while Nisdi managed to win the second set 25-19.
As the runner-up, APF Club received a cash prize of NPR 155,555, while third-placed Army Club was awarded NPR 101,111. The consolation prize winner, Nisdi Volleyball Club, received NPR 55,555.
The Rampur Mahotsav Cup Volleyball Tournament was organized as part of the Fourth Rampur Mahotsav and Trade Fair. The competition featured departmental teams such as Army Club, APF Club, and Police Club, along with Manimukunda Volleyball Club and Nisdi Volleyball Club.
Individual awards were also distributed in the tournament. The best player award went to Resham Chhantyal of Police Club, while the best defender was Binod Chand from APF Club. The best server was Pahal Gahatraj of Police Club, the best blocker was Safal Bik from Police Club, and the best setter was Dipesh Kunwar from APF Club. The best spiker award went to Dhan Bahadur Bhatta from Army Club, while the best coach award was given to Chandra Kunwar of Police Club.
