Sundar’s laughter erupts upon witnessing this, drawing puzzled looks from Arunasur and Vayu, who question his sanity. But for Meenakshi, his reaction feels like a betrayal—she had turned to him for help, yet he laughs.
In the locality, the people recognize Sundar’s laughter; they know he never acts without reason. Strangely, birds take flight, and animals scurry away, sensing an impending storm.
