According to the police, 32-year-old Om Bahadur Rana, a resident of Jokhum, Ward No. 4, Kaligandaki Rural Municipality, was found dead.
Rana had left home on Sunday evening without informing anyone. He was found lying face down in a stream at a place called Bhutegaira, said Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) Chiranjibi Dahal from the District Police Office, Gulmi.
A police team led by Inspector Kapil Shahi from the Ridi Area Police Office has been deployed for further investigation.
