Two people have been found dead in Kailali. According to the police, one body was discovered in Nawalpur, Janaki Rural Municipality-5, and another in Lakshmipur, Ghodaghodi Municipality-1, on Monday.
DSP Kabindra Singh Bohara, spokesperson for the District Police Office, said that 18-year-old Karan Kami from Parshuram Municipality-9, Dadeldhura, was found dead in the Bageshwari Community Forest in Lakshmipur, Ghodaghodi-1.
His body was found on the ground around 4 PM with a noose around his neck. Police suspect that the noose may have broken, causing the body to fall.
Similarly, 30-year-old Ram Bahadur Kathariya was found dead at his home in Nawalpur, Janaki Rural Municipality-1. He was lying on a cot when discovered.
Police have sent his body to Tikapur Hospital for a post-mortem. Investigations into both cases are ongoing.
