Nepal Student Union (NSU) staged a protest demanding justice for Prakriti Lamsal, who was found dead at Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology (KIIT) in Odisha, India.
NSU leaders and students from Padma Kanya Campus held a demonstration in Bagbazar, carrying placards with messages like “Justice for Prakriti Lamsal,” “Let Us Speak, Government,” and “Security is a Right, Not a Privilege.”
Lamsal, a 20-year-old student from Butwal, passed away on Sunday. Fellow students at KIIT claim she died due to mental harassment and have been protesting for justice.
