Nepal is currently experiencing the effects of western winds, according to the Department of Hydrology and Meteorology. As per the latest weather bulletin, the weather will be partly cloudy in the hilly areas of Koshi Province and other parts of the country, while the rest of the regions will have mostly clear skies.
Some places in the Terai region may experience fog or mist. Light rain with thunder and lightning is expected in one or two hilly areas of Koshi, Bagmati, and Gandaki provinces. Additionally, a few places in the high hills and Himalayan regions may receive light snowfall.
Tonight, the weather in hilly areas will be partly to generally cloudy, while the rest of the country will have partly cloudy to clear skies. Light snowfall is possible in one or two places in the high hills and Himalayan regions of Koshi, Gandaki, and Karnali provinces.
In the next 24 hours, there is a possibility of light rain with thunder and lightning in some hilly areas of Koshi, Bagmati, and Gandaki provinces. Light snowfall may also occur in a few places in the high hills and Himalayan regions.
The department has advised people to take necessary precautions, as these weather conditions could slightly affect daily life, health, road transport, and air travel.
