Chhaava Crosses ₹400 Crore at Box Office

Vicky Kaushal’s historical epic Chhaava continues to dominate the global box office, crossing a significant ₹400 crore in its second week of release. The film, which portrays the life of Maratha ruler Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj, has earned a total of ₹444.50 crore globally after 10 days.

Chhaava has now surpassed the lifetime collections of previous blockbusters, including Ranbir Kapoor’s Brahmastra: Part One – Shiva (₹431 crore), Singham Again (₹360 crore), Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 (₹389 crore), and Tanhaji: The Unsung Warrior (₹368 crore).

In India, the film saw an impressive surge over the weekend, raking in ₹44 crore on Saturday and ₹40 crore on Sunday, bringing its domestic total to ₹326.75 crore.

Directed by Laxman Utekar and produced by Dinesh Vijan under Maddock Films, Chhaava features Rashmika Mandanna as Maharani Yesubai, Akshaye Khanna as Aurangzeb, Ashutosh Rana as Sarsenapati Hambirao Mohite, and Divya Dutta as Soyarabai. The soundtrack, composed by AR Rahman, adds another layer to the film’s success.

With its overwhelming success, Chhaava has firmly cemented its place as one of the highest-grossing Indian films of the year.
