Banke police have arrested an Indian national with a large quantity of brown sugar.
A joint team of the Narcotics Control Bureau and Banke police arrested Albaksh Khan from Bahraich, India, at the Jamunaha checkpoint yesterday. According to Banke Police Chief SP Tul Bahadur Karki, 722 grams and 63 milligrams of brown sugar were recovered from his possession.
SP Karki stated that the suspect has been taken into custody for further investigation.
