Nepali Congress leader and Member of Parliament Gagan Kumar Thapa has praised the struggle and dedication shown by the Nepal women’s football team, calling it inspiring.
Writing on social media, he stated that although Nepal lost in the final of the international women’s football tournament, the team will come back stronger.
He wrote, “Nepal women’s football team couldn’t achieve the desired result in the Four Nations Cup final against Myanmar. Just as we celebrate victories with joy, let’s not be discouraged by defeat but instead take inspiration to come back even stronger. The hard work, dedication, and determination shown throughout the journey to the final are truly inspiring. Nepal will return stronger with even better performances.”
