World Cup-winning Italian goalkeeper Gianluigi Buffon is set to arrive in Nepal on Sunday. He will be the chief guest at the final match of the third edition of the KP Oli Cup, organized by the National Youth Association Nepal.
According to Niroj Poudel, the central secretary of the association, Buffon will land in Nepal on Sunday. The final match of the KP Oli Cup will take place on Monday at Dasharath Stadium, where Buffon will attend as the special guest.
Buffon also sent a video message confirming his presence at the final. In the video, he greeted in Nepali, saying, “Namaste, everyone! This is Gigi Buffon. I will be coming as the chief guest at the KP Oli Cup final in early March. See you all there!”
