Actor Tiger Shroff recently shared his thoughts on his evolving journey as an action star in the Baaghi franchise. He revealed that his character will undergo significant transformation in the upcoming Baaghi 4, stating that the franchise that initially helped define his identity as an action hero is now reshaping it.
On Instagram, the 34-year-old actor expressed, “The franchise that gave me the chance to establish myself and showcase my passion for action… is now the one that is altering my identity. My character is definitely different this time, but I hope you embrace him as warmly as you did eight years ago.”
Baaghi 4, produced by Sajid Nadiadwala and directed by A. Harsha, known for his work on films like Vedha and Bhajarangi, will feature Tiger Shroff, Sonam Bajwa, Harnaaz Sandhu, and Sanjay Dutt. The movie is set for release on September 5.
The Baaghi series centers on Ronny, a rebellious martial artist sent to a training academy, where he falls for Sia (Shraddha Kapoor), an aspiring actress. When Sia is kidnapped by a merciless gangster, Ronny must use his martial arts skills to rescue her.
The franchise debuted in 2016 with Tiger and Shraddha in lead roles. The 2018 sequel introduced Disha Patani and Manoj Bajpayee alongside Tiger and became a major box-office hit, grossing Rs 259 crore. Baaghi 3, released in 2020, brought Shraddha back to reprise her role as Sia
