In the clip, Ashutosh is seen being invited to the stage, where he steals the spotlight by dancing to the iconic song “Mitwa” from his film Lagaan, which featured Aamir Khan and Gracy Singh. Dressed in a dashing blue sherwani, the filmmaker’s performance had the crowd cheering and clapping along.

Konark, who is currently assisting his father in filmmaking, has yet to make his debut in Bollywood, either as an actor or director. His bride, Niyati, is the daughter of Rasesh Babubhai Kanakia, a prominent real estate magnate. Their wedding reception was a glamorous affair, attended by a host of celebrities, including Aamir Khan, Vidya Balan, Sonali Bendre, Pooja Hegde, and Chunky Pandey.
Ashutosh Gowariker is known for his award-winning films, including Swades, Lagaan, and Jodhaa Akbar. His most recent project, the 2019 film Panipat, starring Arjun Kapoor, Kriti Sanon, and Sanjay Dutt, didn’t perform well at the box office, earning just ₹49 crore globally. The filmmaker has not yet announced his next project.
