Natural Star Nani is gearing up to captivate audiences once again with his upcoming film The Paradise. Collaborating once more with director Srikanth Odela and producer Sudhakar Cherukuri of SLV Cinemas after their successful project Dasara, Nani is set to take on a bold, larger-than-life role in this film, which is currently in the early stages of production.
Today, the makers unveiled a teaser titled Raw Statement, and the name is an apt reflection of the film’s tone. The teaser begins with a strong disclaimer—”raw truth, raw language”—setting the stage for a gritty and intense narrative.
A powerful voiceover sets the mood, stating: “In history, everyone has written about parrots and pigeons, but no one has written about crows born from the same species. This is the story of those crows, whose hunger burned in their stomachs… The cries of the corpses who have walked for ages… A community raised on blood, not milk… A spark ignited, filling the entire community with excitement. Crows who were once belittled now hold swords in their hands. This is the story of a young rebel who united them… a young man who became their leader…”
This Raw Statement suggests that The Paradise will feature Nani’s most raw and intense performance yet. His dramatic makeover is compelling, and while his face remains partially obscured, the emotion and strength of his portrayal are clearly evident.
Director Srikanth Odela has crafted a striking first-look teaser, with attention to detail, such as the tattoo on Nani’s hand, adding depth to the character. The Raw Statement teaser has been released in five languages—Telugu, Tamil, Hindi, English, and Spanish—with versions in Kannada, Malayalam, and Bengali to follow soon.
