The movie has achieved remarkable success, becoming the film with the highest number of screenings on its release day in overseas markets. Released on February 27, The movie made a stunning debut in the Middle East, screening in 40 cinema halls across four countries. In North America, the film was shown in a total of 77 theaters across the United States and Canada, setting a new record for the most screenings on opening day in the region. “This achievement establishes Laaj Sharanam as the film with the most theaters on its first day of release in North America,” said Subedi.
The movie also marked its presence in Australia, where it opened in 30 theaters, further adding to its impressive international footprint. Starting March 7, Laaj Sharanam will be screened at major cinema chains in the United Kingdom, including Cineworld, Vue, Showcase, and Cinemas.
The Film had its premiere in Nepal on the previous Wednesday, making waves in the local film industry as well. With its successful international launch, the film seems set to continue its success, engaging audiences worldwide.
