A truck and a bus collided at Dawanne on the Narayangadh-Butwal road section.
The accident last night has blocked both sides of the East-West Highway since early morning. Vehicles are lined up as far as Dumkibas on the eastern side.
Police said efforts are underway to remove both vehicles from the road. However, there were no human casualties in the accident.
Road expansion work is ongoing in this area. Due to damaged roads with potholes, passengers have faced difficulties for a long time.
Accidents frequently occur here because drivers often cross lanes while driving.
