Two people died today after being crushed by a falling tree in Siyala Community Forest, Bhairavi Rural Municipality-5, Dailekh.
The deceased have been identified as 49-year-old Tarka Bahadur Shahi and 27-year-old Indra Bahadur Shahi, both locals. According to local leader Devi Ram Acharya, the incident occurred while they were cutting a pine tree, which fell and trapped them.
Sunil Dahal, chief of the District Police Office, stated that both individuals succumbed to their injuries while being taken for treatment.
