A house in Tinkune, Kathmandu, was set on fire after a royalist protest was disrupted on Friday.
The fire broke out in a building near the protest site shortly after security forces intervened to disperse the demonstration. Prior to the blaze, it was reported that royalist protesters had thrown stones at the house, damaging most of its windows.
Live media coverage captured the fire spreading across the building. However, the identity of those responsible for starting the fire is still unknown.
Tensions remain high in Tinkune as authorities work to maintain control over the situation.
