FC Chitwan Appoints Sisan Baniya

Nepal Super League (NSL) team FC Chitwan has appointed popular content creator and youth influencer Sisan Baniya as its club ambassador. Announcing the news on social media, the club expressed confidence that Baniya’s presence will bring more energy and support to the team.

Sisan Baniya is a well-known YouTuber and filmmaker in Nepal, especially influential among the youth. His role is expected to play a key part in promoting football and building the club’s brand.

FC Chitwan Aims for the Title with a New Squad

After underperforming in the previous two seasons, Chitwan has revamped its team, making changes from marquee players to the head coach, with the goal of winning the title this time.

The club has selected Anjan Bista, Nepal’s joint top scorer with 13 goals, as its marquee player and appointed Nabin Nyaupane as the head coach.

FC Chitwan has retained key players from last season, including former captain and goalkeeper Bishal Shrestha, defender Chhirring Gurung, and midfielder Roshan Rana Magar.

In the auction, the club signed Abhishek Limbu and Sumit Shrestha from Category A, while Shishir Lekhi, Jay Gurung, Milan Rai, and Niraj Chaudhary were picked from Category B. Additionally, FC Chitwan selected Vivek Gurung, Shishir Chaudhary, Bishal Syangtan, and Pradip Bhandari from the Category C draft.

The club also signed local star Rojal Dahal and recruited rookie Ganesh Nepali through a talent hunt.
