Laxmi Group is bringing a new electric vehicle (EV) brand to Nepal. The brand is called Forthing, produced by Dongfeng Liuzhou Motors, a subsidiary of the well-known Chinese automobile manufacturer Dongfeng Motor Group.
Forthing Vehicles Arrive at Nepal’s Northern Border
According to Laxmi E-Mobility, a division of Laxmi Group, two models of the Forthing Friday series have already arrived at Nepal’s northern border. These electric cars will be officially launched in Nepal within a few days.
Two Variants with Different Price Ranges
Forthing EVs will be available in two segments:
- Luxury segment: Priced at NPR 56,96,000
- Exclusive segment: Priced at NPR 62,96,000
Both models aim to provide a premium electric driving experience for Nepali consumers.
Powerful Motor and Long-Lasting Battery
The vehicles feature a 99 kW electric motor, offering strong performance. The exclusive model includes a 64.4 kWh lithium iron phosphate (LFP) battery, which is known for its safety and durability.
Fast Charging and AC Charging Support
Forthing EVs support both standard and fast charging options:
- 11 kW AC charger for regular home or office charging
- Up to 80 kW DC fast charging for quick top-ups during travel
This flexibility ensures drivers can charge the vehicle conveniently.
