A man has been arrested in Kailali on the charge of raping a young woman.
According to police, Sanju Damai, a 21-year-old from the same area, has been accused of raping a 21-year-old woman in Bardagoriya Rural Municipality–3, Jhal.
District Police Office spokesperson DSP Kabindra Singh Bohara said Damai was arrested on Wednesday based on a complaint filed by the victim.
He is accused of committing the crime on the upper floor of the woman’s house.
