Armed Police have seized a car carrying marijuana in Dhankuta.
On Wednesday morning, a car heading from Namaste Jharana in Sangurigadhi Rural Municipality-6 toward Dharan tried to escape when police attempted to stop it for a check.
The car, with registration number Ko 2 Pa 1734, was later found crashed.
The driver had fled the scene. Inside the car, police found 421 kilograms of marijuana packed in 12 bundles.
Armed Police said they are investigating the case further.
