On Sunday, Abiral Ghimire claimed victory in the famous ‘K-1 Krush 175’ tournament held in Osaka, Japan. This tournament is considered one of the most respected events in the world of kickboxing.

Defeated Japanese Champion in Round Two

In a fierce match, Abiral defeated Japanese champion Oda Jinku in the second round, making him the first Nepali fighter to ever beat Jinku in the ring.

Training and Support

To prepare for the big fight, Abiral underwent intensive closed training in Thailand for nearly one and a half months.
His father, Dev Ghimire—a former international kickboxer and karate athlete himself—shared his pride in Abiral’s achievement.
