Police in Dhanusha have arrested Hariram Yadav, who was on the run after allegedly killing his wife Anjali Yadav.
Anjali, 20, was found dead in the prayer room of their house in Lakshminiya Rural Municipality. Her body had been buried inside the room.
Before her body was discovered, Hariram had already disappeared with their 10-month-old daughter. The child’s condition and whereabouts are still unknown.
Locals say the couple had frequent arguments. After months of hiding, police finally caught Hariram.
According to Dhanusha Police, more details about the case will be shared in a press conference today. SP Narahari Regmi confirmed that the investigation is still ongoing.
