Police have arrested four young men from Balkhu, Kathmandu-14, with a large quantity of illegal drugs. The suspects were caught with 1,067 drug capsules, Rs. 19,500 in cash, and 6 mobile phones.
The arrested individuals are:
- Homraj Shrestha (24) from Golanjor-2, Sindhuli
- Rabeen Shrestha (23) from Dhulikhel-2, Kavre
- Surendra Achhami (21) from Tarkeshwor-4, Nuwakot
- Bijay Ale Magar from Tripurasundari-4, Dhading
A team from Kalimati Police Circle made the arrests during a routine patrol. The suspects are currently being held under a 6-day investigation period granted by the Kathmandu District Court.
SP and spokesperson Apil Raj Bohora confirmed that further investigation is underway to uncover the source and intent behind the drug possession.
