A 40-year-old man from Gaindakot-7, Yam Lal Darai, tragically lost his life while fishing in the Narayani River. He had gone fishing on Friday night with two friends near Thumsi in Nawalparasi. Sadly, the strong current swept him away.
After two days of search efforts, his body was found Sunday morning near the riverbank close to Thumsi. Local police confirmed the body has been sent to Bharatpur Hospital for post-mortem.
This tragic incident reminds us how dangerous rivers can be, even during regular activities like fishing.
