In the last league match, Bengaluru defeated Lucknow by 6 wickets, finishing second on the points table. With this win, they joined Punjab Kings, who had already booked their spot in the first qualifier.
Gujarat Drop to Eliminator
Bengaluru’s win pushed Gujarat Titans to third place. Gujarat will now face Mumbai Indians in the Eliminator. The loser of this match will be knocked out of the tournament.
Second Chance for Punjab or Bengaluru
The winner between Punjab Kings and Bengaluru in Qualifier 1 will head straight to the final. The losing team will get another shot in Qualifier 2, where they will face the winner of the Eliminator.
