Scotland A Set a Target of 221 in Rain-Shortened Match
The match was reduced to 40 overs per side due to rain. Batting first, Scotland A posted 220 runs for the loss of 9 wickets. Captain Chris McBride led the charge with a solid 72 runs. Jamie Dunk scored 48, Owen Gould added 28, and Liam Naylor contributed 25 runs.
From Nepal’s side, Sompal Kami impressed with the ball, taking 4 wickets for 35 runs in his 8 overs. Rijhan Dhakal took 2 wickets, while Gulshan Jha and Lalit Rajbanshi claimed one wicket each.
Nepal Batting Collapse Ends with 118 All Out
In response, Nepal struggled right from the start and were bowled out for just 118 runs in 29.4 overs. Only Arif Sheikh showed some resistance, scoring 44 runs. Captain Rohit Paudel managed 17 runs, while Gulshan Jha added 10. No other batsman reached double figures.
Scotland A’s Zainullah Ihsan was the standout bowler, picking up 4 wickets. Mackenzie Jones took 3, James Dickinson grabbed 2, and Oli Davidson took 1 wicket.
