Renowned Nepali actor and comedian Ghanashyam Gautam has passed away at the age of 41. He breathed his last on Monday night at 12:10 AM while undergoing treatment at Kathmandu Cancer Center, Tathali, Bhaktapur.
Gautam had been fighting intestinal cancer for the past two years. Despite ongoing treatment and multiple hospitalizations, his health deteriorated recently. Just a month and a half ago, he was admitted to Kathmandu Medical College in Sinamangal, and later moved to the cancer center as his condition worsened.His family confirmed the sad news through a heartfelt Facebook post from his personal account. The post, shared around 1 AM, read:
“He is no longer among us. Heartfelt tribute.”
